Where

Dance Pointe opened at Cherrybrook in 2001, operating from the John Purchase Public and Cherrybrook Technology High Schools. Our steady growth prompted us to open a studio in Baulkham Hills to complement our original studio in Cherrybrook.

We want all our students to achieve these things while they are enjoying dancing and having fun. Our classes are structured so that our teachers inspire and support our students as they are providing a wonderful dance experience.

The studio is operated by the Principal, Prue Haithwaite who has a long history of involvement with dancing, beginning when she commenced ballet lessons at 6 years old with the RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) syllabus. Prue successfully completed Primary to Pre-Elementary levels before studying under the ADAP (Australian Dance Assessment Program) for a further 2 years.

She completed her major levels and was awarded a Teachers Accreditation for Classical Ballet in 1999. Prue has extensive teaching experience, gained over more than 20 years and she has also completed an Executive Business Diploma.

Our Baulkham Hills studio is managed by Lauren McCulloch, a fully qualified dance teacher, and a past/present Dance Pointe student. The studio operates from the Matthew Pearce Hall.
