Where

Wacky Workshops grew from the realisation that there are few places where children can tap into their creativity at their own pace, choosing the projects they want to create.

That was nearly 30 years ago. Now, the small but thriving business offers a unique opportunity for private students to choose their own projects, using the vast array of materials in the Wacky Workshops studio.

The teacher, Tami, worked as a professional potter for many years.

Tami also worked as an art therapist for people with disabilities for several years and has an up to date child safety certificate.

As a mother of three and grandmother to six, Tami’s experience and understanding of children are extensive.

Her focus is on making the workshops fun. Mess and mistakes are welcomed as important ingredients in the mix to discovering creative joy.

Wacky Workshops is all about fostering creativity and imagination in children. This is something needed more than ever as the temptations of technology take over from the wonders of making things by hand.
